Anthony Mahon and Polly Harris or Maynard were married about 1871. They appeared in the census in 1880 in Hardee Township, Logan Co., WV. Polly Harris or Maynard was born about 1854 in Virginia.

Anthony Mahon and Polly Harris or Maynard had the following children:

477	i.	James Mahon was born about 1872 in Kentucky.
478	ii.	Hiram Mahon was born on 20 March 1873 in West Virginia. He died of a self-inflicted gun shot wound on 17 July 1949 in O'Keefe, Mingo Co., WV. He was buried on 18 July 1949 in Hatfield Cemetery, Okeefe, Mingo Co., WV.
479	iii.	John L. Mahon was born on 25 April 1876. He was buried on 19 March 1945 in Mahon Cemetery, O'Keefe, Mingo Co., WV. He died on 17 May 1945 in O'Keefe, Mingo Co., WV.
480	iv.	Melvin Mahon was born about 1878.
481	v.	Nancy Mahon was born on 28 May 1880 in Mingo Co., WV.
