97. Samuel Franklin Curry was born on 15 November 1858 in Barnabus, Logan Co., VA (now WV). He appeared in the census in 1880 in Hardee Township, Logan Co., WV.²⁹ He died on 13 November 1926 at the age of 67 in Mingo Co., WV. Samuel was buried in LVS Curry Cemetery, Elk Creek, Mingo Co., WV.

Samuel Franklin Curry and Polly Ann Farley were married on 7 November 1881 in Logan Co., WV.⁴⁶ Polly Ann Farley, daughter of William Anderson Farley and Rosa McCoy, was born on 26 December 1862. She died on 2 March 1953 at the age of 90 in Mingo Co., WV. She was buried in LVS Curry Cemetery, Elk Creek, Mingo Co., WV.
