56. Joseph Olley Curry was born in April 1852 in Logan Co., VA (now WV). He appeared in the census in 1870 in Duval Township, Lincoln Co., WV. He died on 13 March 1921 in Lincoln Co., WV.

Joseph Olley Curry and Rosa Lee Walker were married in 1872. They lived in Peytona District, Boone Co., WV during the 1880 Census. Rosa Lee Walker was born on 29 May 1852 in Boone Co., VA (now WV). She died of old age (senility) on 14 October 1929 in Yawkey, Lincoln Co., WV.³⁸ She was buried on 15 October 1929 in Midkiff Cemetery, Lincoln Co., WV.

Joseph Olley Curry and Rosa Lee Walker had the following children:

334	ii.	James Edward Curry was born on 15 November 1877 in Boone, Co., WV. He was born on 22 June 1879 in Boone, Co., WV. He died on 21 February 1949 in South Charleston, Kanawha Co., WV.⁸⁴ James was buried on 24 February 1949 in Forks of Coal Cemetery. He lived in Alum Creek, Kanawha Co., WV. He served in the military in WWI Draft Registration.⁸⁵
